Lady Ambassadors is an international organisation with representatives from all corners of the world.


Founded in 2000, by Fay Goodman, Lady Ambassadors seeks to profile women of all ages, cultures and abilities by highlighting the important role women play in all areas of life.  Women from diverse walks of life including the world of business, politics, lifestyle and the media contribute their wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to support local, regional, national and international issues.

Lady Ambassadors is primarily a support and profile group, which will lobby on positive issues, which not only relate to women, but to any area which has an impact on people’s quality of life.  To date, success has been achieved in supporting ‘Breakthrough’ a national group who seek to promote awareness of Breast Cancer and positive initiatives.


The first success profiled Julie Roberts of the Regional Breakthrough group, where contacts were made to assist in funding and literature development to promote the importance of regular checks and prevention.  This initiative is ongoing and aims to educate the whole family as to what needs to be done to prevent and take action where necessary.  It is not just a case of the women being aware, but also doctors appreciating the need to encourage women to take action as soon as they are aware of a possible problem.


Lady Ambassadors also profile other women’s groups as Fay Goodman, President of Lady Ambassadors, said, “There are many excellent Women’s Groups and organisations throughout the Midlands, nationally and internationally.  Lady Ambassadors will become a common link supporting and working with many of these groups.  There are so many excellent women who are willing to give their time and energy to help others.  We need to know who and where they are.   Collectively we can make great things happen!  It is a start and we intend to make a difference, not just today, but in many years to come.”
